Eros 2019

A year in the spirit of love and desire

How would you feel if you were told this is going to be a year in the spirit of Eros? According to the spiritual significance of numbers, the numerology energy represented by the number 2019 resonates with creative self-expression, relationships, optimism, and inspiration. It also resonates with diplomacy, tolerance, and inclusiveness. A social energy.

You are in for a deeply creative, sensual & wildly transformational year as you enter a Universal 3 Year in Numerology. If you have felt a deep rumbling in your life over the past couple of years, a call to change your work/relationships/home, a call to step into something bigger and more wildly beautiful… then 2019 is set to be the year where your inner-most heartfelt desires are set to take form. So why leave out an erotic possibility in all of this?

Cupid and Psyche by Errol Le Cain

In Greek mythology, Eros is the Greek god of sensual love and desire — his Roman counterpart was Cupid. Some myths make him a primordial god, while in other myths, he is the son of Aphrodite. He is one of the winged love gods, Erotes. But in the last times our god became a blindfolded child a little mistreated by some artists, and almost completely ignored by ourselves, maybe because of the frantic automatism of these days. But it doesn’t justify any of this. Of course, times have changed, we have less and less sex, masturbation — practical and mental — reigns! But from there it is a far cry from reducing the poor little angel to a mere freakshow.

All that’s left is to hope for a breakout from this humiliating torpor, in the new year. After all, the ultimate goal of our bodies is to guarantee the continuation of the species. By reproducing themselves.
