Golden Gravel
about Akiya Kageichi
Maybe referring to the brightly multicoloured rock gardens, Akiya Kageichi chose to collect all his astrological imagery under the name of Golden Gravel. His sinister jesters, lazy rulers, clandestine warriors and moons are heavily prominent, suggesting an untold chaos and mysterious forces of dark nights at work. In a single plane, objects morph, creating dynamic and active scenes.
Based in Japan, Akiya reveals hidden underworlds and secret futures, in which sorcery and witchcraft pull the strings and determine what happens in the real world.
