Living Painting

A tribute to ten ancient Japanese paintings

Turn off notifications and raise the volume: relax for a few seconds and press the play button to be teleported to Japan in the 19th Century. What you will see are ten ancient Japanese paintings — created between 1786 and 1900, scanned and published by the Library of Congress — that Pasquale “Pask” D’Amico animated with his usual sensitivity and attention to detail — we still remember the wonder of his L’Illusion de Joseph. His new amazing work is 生きている絵 – Living Painting

Featuring artists like Utagawa Andō Hiroshige, Utagawa Kunisada, Utagawa Toyokuni, Kobayashi Kiyochika and Toyohara Kunichika.
